Adventure Cabins can be great spaces to live full-time, Airbnb rentals, or they can make excellent mobile vacation homes you can tow with you to any road trip destination.

An ADU is a secondary dwelling unit with complete independent living facilities for one or more persons and generally takes three forms: 

• Detached or Attached: The unit is separated (or attached) from the primary structure
• Repurposed Existing Space: Space within the primary residence that has been converted into an independent living unit
• Junior Accessory Dwelling Units: Close to the same thing as a repurposed space, but with various streamlining measures

A tiny home is a perfect example of an ADU. Over the years, ADU law has been revised to improve its effectiveness. In 2017, changes to ADU laws further reduce barriers, better streamline approval and expand capacity to accommodate the development of ADUs. 

ADUs address common development barriers such as affordability and environmental quality. ADUs are a more affordable housing option as they do not require paying for land, major new infrastructure, structured parking, or elevators. ADUs are built cost-effectively, and can provide as much living space as some apartments and condominiums. They serve very well for couples, small families, friends, young people, and seniors.
